helloworld.co.in is a personal maker site — articles, a knowledge base and small web tools built by one person. This page explains what data the site touches and why. The short version: analytics to see what’s read, whatever you choose to send me, and nothing sold to anyone.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics (via Google Site Kit) to understand which pages are visited, from what kind of device and roughly where in the world. This relies on cookies set by Google. I see aggregated statistics, not your identity. See Google’s own privacy documentation for how they process this data.
Comments
If you comment on an article, the name, email and website you enter are stored with the comment, along with your IP address and browser string (WordPress standard, used for spam screening — performed locally by Antispam Bee, not a third-party service). Your email is never displayed or shared.
Contact form
Messages sent through the contact page (name, email, message) are emailed to me and used only to reply to you. They are not added to any mailing list.
Tools and installers
If you create an account for the interactive tools (such as the IoT widgets), the site stores your account email and the access tokens for your devices. If you install project software (such as the Earthrover stack) using the install script, the installation reports basic telemetry — an install count, device type and country derived from the IP — so I can see how many installations exist. This data identifies devices, not people.
Server logs & cookies
Like virtually every website, the web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, requested page, browser) for security and debugging, rotated on the hosting provider’s schedule. WordPress sets login cookies only if you have an account and log in; reading the site sets no cookies beyond the analytics ones above.
Embedded content
Articles may embed content from other sites (for example YouTube videos). Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited that website — it may set its own cookies and collect its own analytics.
What this site does not do
No selling or renting of data. No advertising networks. No tracking beyond the analytics described above.
