Javascript Robotics

These days Javascript is powerful enough to interact with your mobile phone's sensors and hardware directly through a browser. There exists simple javascript APIs which can access accelerometer, compass, microphone and other hardware of your phone. So let's try to innovate and use them to control our Robot. It is a fun way of learning Javascript and Robotics at the same time.

Javascript Compass for Robot : This project demonstrate how you can use a mobile phone as a compass and use it to control the robot’s direction precisely. The compass is created using javascript. Once the web page is loaded on the mobile browser, it captures the compass value and sends it to server.

Voice controlled robot : Convert voice commands to text using Javascript Web Speech API and use it to control the Robot. The example demonstrates how javascript code running on your browser can access the built in microphone of your device and converts the speech into text. The converted text is passed to the Robot to control motors.
